How do I enable KeenKey?
Open your device's Settings app and go to General → Keyboard → Keyboards. Tap "Add New Keyboard" and select KeenKey AI from the list. Once added, tap on KeenKey AI and turn on "Allow Full Access" so the AI features can work.
What is Full Access and is my data secure?
Full Access allows KeenKey AI to connect to the internet to process your text with AI. Without it, the keyboard can type but cannot run any AI features. Your text is only sent to our servers when you explicitly trigger a feature — we never read what you type passively.
Can KeenKey AI see my passwords or payment details?
No. KeenKey AI only processes text when you actively tap a feature like "Check Grammar" or "Translate". Sensitive fields such as passwords and credit card inputs use iOS's secure text mode, which disables all third-party keyboards automatically. Apple shows a Full Access warning for all third-party keyboards regardless of how they handle data.
The KeenKey AI option isn't appearing on my keyboard — what should I do?
First, make sure KeenKey AI is added in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards and that Full Access is enabled. If it still doesn't appear, try removing and re-adding the keyboard. To switch to KeenKey AI while typing, long-press the 🌐 globe button on your keyboard and select KeenKey AI from the list.
How do I switch to KeenKey AI while typing?
While any keyboard is open, long-press the 🌐 globe icon (usually in the bottom-left area). A menu will appear listing all your keyboards — tap KeenKey AI to switch instantly.
